Nutritional Assessment

It is recommended that new patients first schedule a nutritional assessment which includes an Autonomic Response Test and Heart Rate Variability Test. Between these two tests the practitioner can gauge the patients’ current state of health. Below are details about what each test encompasses.

Autonomic Response Testing allows for testing down to the cellular level for pathogens such as bacteria, fungus/yeast, viruses, and parasites, metal and chemical toxicities, food sensitivities/allergies, scar foci and psychosomatic stress using signal enhancers and applied kinesiology to locate any blocked regulation. When a patient presents symptoms it always comes down to one of the above areas. Once the root issue is discovered, the practitioner tests specific supplements against the patients’ body to find which ones open regulation. From there, a personalized nutritional program is created which brings the patients’ body into open regulation on all layers including down to the cellular level. This promotes healing as it supports the patients’ body to heal.

Heart Rate Variability Test

The Heart Rate Variability (HRV) test is a specialized EKG technology that evaluates the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) which is responsible for controlling many vital bodily functions.

Your HRV test will show how your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems are functioning and whether they are in balance or not. Both systems have important jobs to keep the body regulating. See the diagram below for details about each system’s roles.

What can I expect during the test?
The HRV test takes about 8 to 10 minutes to complete. A heart monitor is placed around the patient’s chest and a bluetooth device is connected. The patient begins in a lying down position. Next, they are asked to stand, and shortly after that to sit in a seated position. During the last part of the test, the patient is instructed to practice deep breathing, in through their nose and out through their mouth. This concludes the test. The Practitioner will view the HRV test results and go over them with the patient during their Report of Findings visit.

How often should I get a HRV test?

• 90 days after the initial HRV test
• 6 months after the initial HRV test
• 1 year after the initial HRV test
• After the first year of treatment, patients should get a HRV test annually or as recommended by the practitioner.

This testing is used for the treatment and prevention of the root imbalances that cause disease.

Details of Testing:

1. Patient fills out Nutrition Case History Forms & Daily Record of Food Intake and sends in any recent blood work and labs for review and evaluation.
2. Patient has initial phone (average 20 minutes). All previous labs and tests will be reviewed by our Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist Dr. Inselberg DAc.
3. Patient receives Distant Autonomic Response Testing for food sensitivities, chemical/metal toxicities, and pathogens-bacteria, fungus, parasites, viruses.
4. Patient receives results of the Distant Autonomic Response Test and the recommended Nutritional Program needed to start healing during the Report of Findings Consultation via phone (30 minutes).
5. Upon agreement, patient receives Nutritional Program in mail containing nutritional supplements and directions, notes regarding any imbalances (e.g. nutritional, food, toxicity) and the next scheduled TeleMedicine appointment to see how his/her body is responding to the Nutritional Program.

Urgent Care Appointment

An Autonomic Response Test will show a cold/flu/virus/bacterial/fungal infection before it hits the body. Depending on the basis of the infection, and how your body tests, a remedy will be formulated. Protocols can consist of natural anti-biotic’s, immune support whole food supplements, herbal remedies and a diet low in sugar and high in nutrients. Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)

Neuro Emotional Technique is a mind-body technique that tests your body's neurological reflexes.
